GENE WhatsApp Privacy Notice

1. Scope and operator

GENE is a conversational business-assistance interface operated by NUOVO Collection in Hong Kong. This notice applies to GENE conversations conducted through the official WhatsApp Business platform.

GENE is currently limited to approved test participants. Being able to message the WhatsApp number does not by itself grant access to NUOVO systems, records, staff information, customer information, or authority to act for NUOVO Collection.

2. Information we may handle

When you communicate with GENE, we may handle:

• Your WhatsApp phone number, WhatsApp identifier, and profile name.
• The text, images, documents, audio, or other content you choose to send.
• Message timestamps, delivery information, technical logs, and security events.
• Information you provide when requesting support, correction, access, or deletion.

3. How we use information

We use information only as reasonably necessary to:

• Authenticate approved participants and enforce access restrictions.
• Understand messages and provide requested conversational assistance.
• Prepare drafts, summaries, research, checklists, and other requested work.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, audit, and improve the service.
• Prevent misuse, investigate incidents, and comply with legal obligations.

GENE may use artificial-intelligence service providers to process conversation content on NUOVO Collection's behalf. GENE does not independently obtain authority to make payments, bind NUOVO Collection, access unrelated business systems, or disclose another person's private conversation.

4. Service providers and disclosure

Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate GENE, including Meta and WhatsApp, hosting and security providers, and artificial-intelligence or technical infrastructure providers acting on our behalf.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a properly governed business reorganization. Providers may process information in jurisdictions outside Hong Kong, subject to their contractual and technical safeguards and applicable law.

5. Retention and security

We retain conversation data and technical records only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the service, resolve requests or disputes, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal obligations. Test data may be removed when a trial ends. Retention may be extended where preservation is legally required or reasonably necessary for security or dispute resolution.

We use access controls, restricted sender lists, credential protection, transport encryption, logging controls, and other reasonable safeguards. No electronic service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, or deletion. You may stop using GENE at any time. You can also block the WhatsApp business account through WhatsApp.

To make a privacy request, email home@nuovoid.com with the subject GENE Privacy Request. We may need to verify that you control the relevant WhatsApp number before acting.

7. How to request deletion

1. Email home@nuovoid.com with the subject GENE Data Deletion Request.
2. State that the request concerns GENE on WhatsApp and identify the WhatsApp number used, preferably only by its country code and final four digits until identity verification is arranged.
3. We will acknowledge the request, verify control of the relevant account where necessary, and explain the action taken or any lawful reason information must be retained.

8. Children

GENE is a business service and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly invite children to use it.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as GENE's features, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel where required.
